You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across North America—including teams in Product, Compliance, Machine Learning, Fraud Operations, Fraud Strategy, and other Fraud Engineering teams.</p> <div><strong>What Youll Do</strong></div> <ul> <li>Work cross-functionally with colleagues in Machine Learning, Product, Compliance, Analytics and Fraud Ops teams to set and execute our financial crimes mitigation strategy and improve Fraud Operations efficiency.</li> <li>Write high-quality code in <strong>Python</strong> that can be easily understood and leveraged by others.</li> <li>Build APIs and workflows to work within micro-service and event-driven architectures.</li> <li>Review others’ work and provide constructive feedback in order to maintain high and consistent quality standards across teams.</li> <li>On-Call Rotation - There would be an on-call rotation for this role as a requirement.</li> </ul> <div><strong>What We Look For</strong></div> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent training/fellowship/work experience.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>Python</strong> is a plus.</li> <li>Familiarity with deployment and automated testing frameworks.</li> <li>Ability to collaborate with your team in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Good sense of <strong>ownership</strong> and <strong>accountability</strong>. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. </p> <p>Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).
