You’ll take part in both manual and automated testing to make sure our software is ready for AEVI customers.</div><div><br /></div><div>Your main tasks will be designing test scenarios and test cases, and running tests to confirm that the software meets all requirements before release.</div><div><br /></div><div>A background in payments or transaction processing is a plus, but we also welcome candidates with experience in software testing from other industries.</div><h3>Key Responsibilities: Test Engineer </h3><ul><li>To review functional specifications and customer requirements</li><li> To produce test scenarios and test cases</li><li> To create test data and specify the testing environment</li><li> To execute testing in line with the defined test plan and support other team members with their testing efforts, as required</li><li> To document and verify test results and record all defects/incidents encountered during testing</li><li> To ensure all defects are described with appropriate detail, communicated effectively to the relevant team members, and logged in the corporate defect management tool provided</li><li> To create automated tests for API or UI testing</li><li> To be an effective member of the AEVI test team</li><li> To learn new things and continuously develop skills</li><li> To support other team members</li></ul><h3>We would love to see: </h3><ul><li>Familiarity with tools and methodologies used in testing, such as cloud services, Agile frameworks, automation tools, database queries, or EMV – nice to have</li><li>API testing experience with Postman or Karate</li><li> UI testing experience with Selenium or Cypress</li><li> The ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English</li><li> A high level of attention to detail, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li><li> The ability to build effective relationships and work as part of a team, with a proactive approach to ensuring delivery</li><li>You will ideally have ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or similar, along with a degree in computer science – nice to have</li><li> An understanding of payments and how cashless payments work end to end, and/or an understanding of apps and app stores and how they function – nice to have</li><li> Knowledge of the software development lifecycle – nice to have</li><li> Proven experience of test delivery in relevant areas such as payment processing application systems, agile environments, AWS, or other cloud-based services – nice to have</li></ul><div><b>Life at Aevi</b><span> </span></div><div><span>Being part of Aevi?
