Join us.<h3>Job Description</h3>AECOM is seeking a Digital Delivery Manager to lead our multi-disciplinary CAD design team. AECOMs broad technical capabilities, global footprint and experience in executing large scale projects uniquely position us to lead in traditional and advanced nuclear technologies. The ideal candidate is an expert in leveraging digital platforms coupled with a proficiency in their technical discipline critical to delivering our innovative energy projects.The job responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Team supervision and leadership:</li><li><ul><li>Support Department Manager in advancing the culture of technical excellence and accountability</li><li>Supervise, mentor and lead a team of designers through their individual and technical development for greater utility to the organization and overall career satisfaction</li><li>Lead improvements in project efficiencies by creating, updating, and implementing standards/templates as well as software application advances</li><li>Monitor and track individual team member workload</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><ul><li>Support business development activities by developing deliverable lists, hours build up and strategic approaches to proposals</li><li>Actively support recruiting efforts</li></ul></li><li>Project participation:</li></ul><ul><li>Responsible for the design work on assigned projects; function as the discipline CAD lead where appropriate</li><li>Responsible for the project’s complete and integrated set of digital project content which includes but not limited to construction documents, federated model, database, etc.</li><li>Develops QA processes in project execution workflow: identification of utility clashes, creation of relocation alignments, interface coordination, survey and laser scan incorporation</li></ul><ul><li><ul><li>Coordinate multi-discipline CAD team members, as necessary, across the full spectrum of projects and client solutions</li><li>Provide quality control reviews of work developed by others</li><li>Support projects through complete life cycle including the feasibility phase, preliminary and detailed design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning</li><li>Monitor your teams project progress to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget delivery of projects</li><li>Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of the design work</li><li>Participate in and present design work at client meetings including those requiring occasional travel</li></ul></li><li> Provides overall direction of BIM activities in assigned areas including BIM implementation, integration, development, maintenance, potential liabilities and/or concerns</li><li>Creates and manages standard operating procedures and processes.</li><li>Authorizes access to appropriate data and coordinates efforts with personnel in other departments, project managers, outside design firms, and client representatives.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or AA/AS + 12 years of relevant experience</li><li>Minimum of two years of project leadership experience</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Expert proficiency in Autodesk 2D/3D platform packages collaborative model environments such as Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks</li><li>Experience in the management of Common Data Environments including ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC</li><li>Database administration experience</li><li>Programming competency (e.g. LISP)</li><li>4D+ Model data management capabilities</li><li>Experience leveraging laser scan or other data sets to inform design development</li><li>Knowledge of typical stakeholders and be able to anticipate data requests and expectations</li><li>Understanding of vendor documentation and it’s use as a reference for assigned tasks</li><li>Demonstrated experience in participating complex, multi-discipline programs/projects and CAD teams</li><li>Equipment Arrangement expertise in heavy industrial and power generation facilities</li><li>Passion in developing talented technical teams</li><li>Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish.</li><li>Experience workshare with high value engineering centers</li><li>Field construction and commissioning experience</li><li>Successful experience working in remote and multi-discipline teams</li><li>Familiarity with industry codes and standards </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.</li><li>Relocation is not available for this position.</li></ul><div></div>About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
