<h3>Senior Software Engineer/Software Engineer (Java) - Payments-Billing</h3> The Payments-Billing domain is the heartbeat of Adyens financial operations, managing the critical processes of transaction processing, pricing, and customer billing. As a Java Software Engineer, you will join a new, talented team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a highly scalable and robust payments-billing system. Your work will directly impact Adyens foundational services, building the applications that ensure accurate and efficient financial flows for our global customers. Youll be working at the heart of Adyen, weaving intricate connections between our most critical systems. What you’ll do <ul> <li>Design and Develop Robust Systems: You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle—from software design and implementation to testing and deployment. Youll build and maintain critical Java-based services that handle high-volume financial transactions with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.</li> <li>Collaborate and Deliver: Work within a cross-functional team, partnering with product managers, other engineers, and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver scalable payments and billing features.</li> <li>Maintain and Optimize: Identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more robust and scalable. Youve worked on high-throughput, highly reliable services and are comfortable with the challenges of a critical financial domain.</li> <li>Execution-Focused: You have a pragmatic mindset, balancing speed with quality and impact.
