You are proactive, practical and gain a lot of energy from improving, automating and scaling. You’ve affinity with data &amp; technology and use it for coming up with solutions.  You would report to the Global Head of Tax, and be part of the centralized, Amsterdam-based tax team, which is made up of colleagues in Indirect Tax, Wage Tax, Tax Data &amp; Technology, Transformation, North America &amp; LATAM Regions, International Tax &amp; Transfer Pricing.    You will <ul> <li>Have a lot of freedom and fully own the EMEA &amp; APAC region, incl. specific projects as part of Adyen’s indirect tax matters</li> <li>Review our current indirect tax set-up and ensure it’s well structured for our continued growth and global expansion</li> <li>Look after the indirect tax aspects of our (new) products</li> <li>Implementing the outcome of your tax analysis</li> <li>Review and sign-off on tax returns</li> <li>Deal with tax audits, as and when they arise</li> <li>Always look for ways of optimizing processes and automating manual tasks </li> <li>Interact with stakeholders across multiple functions and regions; including the wider finance organization, as well as Product managers, Country, Account Managers and tax authorities</li> </ul>   Who you are <ul> <li>You’re not afraid to think out-of-the box and are able to come up with creative solutions</li> <li>You have a mindset of constantly improving, automating and scaling</li> <li>You’re a go-getter, take ownership and are not afraid of doing the work yourself and do things outside your comfort zone</li> <li>You’ve affinity with data and indirect tax technology and use this to come up with solutions</li> <li>You have proven experience in an (international, EMEA and/or APAC) indirect tax role </li> <li>You thrive in a rapidly-changing environment</li> <li>In-house experience, and an exposure to the digital economy/financial institutions is a plus</li> </ul>   Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments  Our unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives.
