This role will be based from our Aberdeen office headquarters, on a hybrid working basis. Were happy to discuss how that will look for you as part of the hiring process. <br /><br /></div> <h2> On a typical day, it looks like this... </h2> <div><strong>Financial Analysis &amp; Reporting</strong></div><ul><li>Analyse daily financial transactions to ensure accuracy and alignment with budgets.</li><li>Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses.</li><li>Investigate discrepancies between actual and expected performance, recommending corrective actions.</li></ul><div><strong>Budgeting &amp; Forecasting</strong></div><ul><li>Support the preparation of annual budgets and update financial forecasts based on current business performance.</li><li>Review departmental cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.</li></ul><div><strong>Stakeholder Engagement</strong></div><ul><li>Collaborate with senior managers, Finance colleagues, and cross-functional teams (e.g. HR, Operations) to gather data and provide financial insights.</li><li>Liaise with external partners such as auditors, tax consultants, and banks to ensure compliance and support audits.</li></ul><div><strong>Compliance &amp; Controls</strong></div><ul><li>Ensure timely submission of statutory financial statements and compliance with local regulations.</li><li>Oversee tax filings, payroll processes, and statutory payments (e.g. EPF, Income Tax, SOCSO, EIS).</li><li>Manage intercompany billing, transfer pricing reviews, and fund transfers for operational continuity.</li></ul><div><strong>Operational Finance</strong></div><ul><li>Supervise end-to-end finance activities including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset management.</li><li>Monitor cash flow and manage intercompany collections and payments.</li><li>Maintain and review Finance SOPs and participate in integration and process improvement initiatives.</li></ul> <h2>  </h2>
