Lead and initiate engineering improvements and code reviews.</li><li><b>Product Development</b>: design, build, and maintain innovative product features that enhance the <b>Achievers platform - the most-used platform in the industry </b>impacting <b>4+ million users in 170 countries </b>worldwide. </li><li><b>Continuous Delivery: ship code multiple times a day</b>, enabling continuous improvement and rapid delivery of new features. Take full ownership of features or modules from design through deployment, ensuring the quality and reliability of the codebase. </li><li><b>Technology Selection</b>: utilize a wide range of modern tools and technologies, including Python, Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Drone, Google Pub/Sub, React/Redux, GraphQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microservices, to solve complex challenges.</li><li><b>Lead and Mentor:</b> provide guidance and mentorship to a team of software developers with varying experience levels, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.</li><li><b>Cross-functional collaboration</b>: work closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Actively participate in cross-functional planning sessions to align on priorities and dependencies. </li><li><b>Learning and Growth</b>: continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Engineering practices to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the team. </li></ul><h3>What we`re looking for:</h3><ul><li>Strong experience in <b>leading</b> <b>back-end </b>or full-stack <b>projects </b>with a strong focus on the back-end <b>in a Staff capacity</b>.
