<h2>About the Role</h2> <p>This position exists to support the development and maintenance of SEG displacement products delivered by the <strong>Critical Email Products (CEP)</strong> team, within the <strong>Message Security Products</strong> Organisation. The role plays a critical part in shaping and executing the technical direction, ensuring quality and timely delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to solve real customer pain points. This role will help strengthen the team and company’s ability to deliver products that will aid our SEG displacement strategy.</p> <h2>What you will do</h2> <p>Abnormal AI is looking for a driven and growth‑oriented Fullstack Software Engineer to join the Critical Email Products (CEP) team. The team builds and supports Abnormal’s URL Rewriting product within the Message Security Products (MSP) division. As a member of the team, you will ship features end‑to‑end designing and scaling backend services, building intuitive experiences in the Portal, improving reliability and performance, and supporting the ongoing success of the product. You’ll work across APIs, services, and UI to solve technical challenges related to high‑volume email processing and URL rewriting at scale. We’re looking for candidates who are eager to learn, excited to work collaboratively, and interested in working on high-scale, high-impact products.</p> <h2>Must Haves</h2> <ul> <li>BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems or other related engineering field</li> <li>1+ years of industry experience on backend development &amp; distributed systems, designing &amp; building software applications</li> <li>Proficiency in frontend frameworks.</li> <li>Experience working individually as well as in groups on a regular basis</li> <li>Experience working with distributed teams, proficient in asynchronous and written communication</li> <li>Experience building features &amp; components from scratch and operating them, balancing feature development work with operational tasks</li> </ul> <h2>Nice to Haves</h2> <ul> <li>Experience with our stack: Python, Go, AWS, K8s, Django, Spark, Prometheus</li> <li>1+ years of experience programming in Golang</li> <li>Proficiency in frontend frameworks like React, Next</li> <li>Familiarity with AWS services and deployment practices.</li> <li>Experience leading a small team to build a feature or component from scratch</li> </ul> <p>#LI-UC1</p><div><p><br />Abnormal AI is an equal opportunity employer.
