<h2>About the Role</h2> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Benefits &amp; Leave Operations Specialist </strong> to join our Total Rewards team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring a best-in-class employee experience across benefits operations and leave management—balancing compliance, timeliness, and care.</p> <p>Reporting to the <strong>Global Benefits Manager</strong>, this specialist will own key transactions including benefits processing, vendor invoicing, and global leave management. The ideal candidate combines operational rigor, empathy, and a process mindset, and thrives in a high-volume, detail-sensitive environment.</p> <h2>What you will do </h2> <ul> <li>Execute employee benefits changes (QLEs, enrollments, time-off balance transfers, international leave) with accuracy and speed</li> <li>Administer global leave programs including calculations, documentation, compliance, and employee communication</li> <li>Reconcile vendor invoices and ensure timely payments in collaboration with Finance</li> <li>Conduct recurring audits to maintain benefits data integrity and regulatory compliance</li> <li>Serve as the first line of support for employee inquiries via ticketing systems with clarity and empathy</li> <li>Maintain and evolve standard operating procedures for benefits and leave processes</li> <li>Liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure a high-quality employee experience</li> <li>Identify and propose process improvements that enhance scalability and reduce manual work<br /><br /></li> </ul> <h2>Must Haves </h2> <ul> <li>2–4 years experience in benefits administration or global leave management</li> <li>Proficiency in Workday and HR ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshworks)</li> <li>Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)</li> <li>Experience managing vendor invoicing and benefits/payroll reconciliation</li> <li>High attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment</li> <li>Strong communication skills, with ability to convey complex benefits topics clearly</li> <li>Ability to balance backend compliance with employee-facing empathy and support</li> <li>Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally across Finance, HRBPs, and vendors</li> </ul> <h2>Nice to Have </h2> <ul> <li>Experience with global leave programs or international benefits coordination</li> <li>Experience developing global time off and leave policy with a strong lens on compliance</li> <li>Exposure to scaling HR operations in a high-growth tech environment</li> <li>Familiarity with U.S. and international compliance standards related to benefits and leave</li> <li>Passion for identifying automation or AI tooling opportunities in HR processes</li> </ul> <p>#LI-LG1</p><div><div><div><hr /> <p><br />At Abnormal AI, certain roles are eligible for a bonus, restricted stock units (RSUs), and benefits.
