44.01 owns and operates a simple set of wireline and logging equipment to conduct routine subsurface monitoring and collect geochemical measurements. The Wireline Operator is based in Fujairah, UAE and responsible for operating and maintenance of the wireline winch, logging and sampling tools. They will also be trained to conduct basic lab measurements on samples collected from monitoring wells. This role works closely with operation team on site, in charge of operating CO2 injection facility, and other engineering team members in achieving the company’s vision with clear deliverables. The Operator will be required to work autonomously and communicate with external contractors and vendors for any remote system support. 

  • Operate monocable wireline winch, logging tools and downhole sampling equipment while adhering to 44.01 HSE requirements
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairs when needed
  • Maintain on-site laboratory, spare tools and probes and other measurement/monitoring equipment
  • Conduct basic measurements on water and gas samples using lab equipment; supervision and assistance will be available remotely
  • Keep clear and accurate record of all logs and sample measurements, following 44.01 data acquisition and reporting guidelines
  • Conduct Quality Control on data and engage with the technical team if any irregularities observed
  • Perform other related duties such as collection of samples from injection facility, operating submersible pumps in monitoring wells, handling and mixing chemical tracers
  • Prepare and maintain spare part stock and consumption reports for all monitoring assets
  • Understand, follow and perform the duties with approved available departmental standing instructions, standard operating procedures (SOP) and other work permit systems
  • Work closely with the operation team, in charge of running a CO2 conditioning and injection plant, and provide supervised support when needed
  • Comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures
  • Maintains adequate housekeeping according to Company’s HSE Procedures
  • At least 3 years of experience as wireline or slickline operator or technician
  • Minimum Diploma in chemical / process/ mechanical /electrical engineering
  • Understand and believe in sustainability and negative emissions 
  • Skilled at problem-solving, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and reporting 
  • Good understanding of operations, electronics, and control systems
