What you’ll be doing<ul><li>Participate in the reconciliation process and assist in identifying areas for improvement and automation.</li><li>Assist in the development of Power BI reports by gathering requirements, preparing data, and building visualizations under guidance.</li><li>Help identify and resolve data discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data.</li><li>Collaborate with finance, operations, and other teams to provide data support and contribute to ad hoc analyses.</li><li>Monitor budget vs. actual performance and assist in preparing variance explanations.</li><li>Analyse historical and current data trends to support decision-making and uncover potential issues or opportunities.</li><li>Contribute to the automation of reporting processes, particularly for regulatory or internal reporting.</li><li>Support efforts to improve data literacy by helping colleagues understand reports and data tools.</li></ul><ul> </ul>About you, you have<ul><li>Fluency in English, both written and spoken</li><li>A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science</li><li>Over a year of hands-on experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role</li><li>A solid understanding of accounting and financial principles</li><li>Clear and effective communication skills, paired with a strong desire to learn and collaborate</li><li>The ability to present data insights in a clear, structured way to both technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Power Query</li><li>A good grasp of data collection, cleaning, and preparation techniques</li><li>A natural curiosity about how databases and data structures function</li><li>A flexible, proactive mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team</li></ul>It’s a plus if you also have…<ul><li>Experience in the fintech industry</li><li>Familiarity with reconciliation processes</li><li>Exposure to data warehousing projects</li><li>Experience with forecasting and modelling</li></ul><ul> </ul>In return for your hard work:💰 Competitive Salary + plus stock options (after 12 months) &amp; benefits   💻 Hybrid working setup in our wonderful city-centre office  📚 We foster non-BAU projects in our team, we want you to explore new avenues and expand your expertise to benefit your professional pathway &amp; our teams.  ➕ And much, much more….Our commitment to you We are an equal opportunities employer.
