Here, you will make an impact by:<ul><li>Building technical relationships across key customers in the aerospace segment for the structural adhesive films, pastes and sealants product portfolios</li><li>Translating customer needs into potential 3M solutions</li><li>Connecting 3M technology to customer needs</li><li>Providing application support and training to customers, including in-person visits and product installations</li><li>Providing technical support and troubleshooting of existing products in current applications</li><li>Delivering the technical components of product spec-in</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities</li><li>Collaborating internally with Sales/Marketing, Product Platforms, and central R&amp;D teams on technology and product development</li></ul>Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</li></ul>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:<ul><li>Masters’s degree in a science or engineering discipline; or</li><li>Two (2) years of application engineering, product development, new product commercialization, or other similar role translating customer needs into technical product performance criteria in a private, public, government or military environment</li><li>Knowledge of aerospace industry materials, technologies, processes, and specifications</li><li>Demonstrated ability to navigate complex problems and identify innovative solutions</li><li>Project management experience</li></ul>Work location: <ul><li>Maplewood, MN - Onsite (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN at least 4 days per week)</li></ul>Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
