The role will be responsible for the managing all aspects of the USA Value Channel accounts (Dollar General, Family Dollar and Dollar Tree) and other assigned regional accounts.  Here, you will make an impact by:<ul><li>Lead the development and execution of strategic growth plans for all 3M portfolios focusing on expanding sales into the assigned territory &amp; value channel and collaborating with various buying teams to maximize opportunities. </li><li>Craft and advocate for comprehensive business plans that align with area go-to-market strategies and the unique needs of the portfolio with your customers.  </li><li>Identify and leverage opportunities to enhance productivity, seasonal performance, and space expansion, while leading strategic discussions for online and seasonal growth plans.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, shopper marketing, eCommerce specialists, customer service and demand planners to analyze performance, prioritize initiatives, and optimize promotional investments.</li><li>Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to position the channel for increased market share, while fostering strong relationships with the customers buying teams and other key stakeholders.</li><li>Oversee financial management, including the Marketing Development Fund (MDF) plan, rebate plans, and addressing financial discrepancies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. </li><li>Provide leadership in developing and enhancing 3M’s partnerships at all levels of accounts under scope of responsibility.</li><li>Provide regular updates on business progress to divisional sales leaders including communication of critical issues and opportunities.</li><li>Create solutions through critical thinking, creativity, innovation and strong analytical skills.</li><li>Shares vision and always demonstrates company values.</li></ul>Company VehicleThis position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this positionYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</li><li>Three (3) years of experience in Key Account Sales for Regional and National Chain Accounts in a private, public, government, or military environment.</li><li>Five (5) years’ experience in sales/marketing/analytics.</li><li>Current, valid Driver’s License</li></ul>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:<ul><li>MBA preferred.</li><li>7 years of direct sales responsibility in retail key accounts in a private, public, government or military environment </li><li>Prior experience in the consumer business retail channels</li><li>Strong analytical ability in order to uncover insights from account and market POS data in order to create opportunities for 3M.</li><li>Experience creating partnerships with C-suite stakeholders with strong negation skills.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills across multiple organizations within 3M, broker organizations, and targeted accounts.</li></ul>Location: Remote -- Mid-Atlantic or St. Paul, MN preferredSales Territory: United StatesTravel: May include up to 25% travelRelocation: Maybe AuthorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
