Here, you will make an impact by:<ul><li>Determine directions, priorities and assigns resources with full accountability for results of functional area.</li><li>Responsible for managing sales targets for assigned customers/area(s)/product line(s).</li><li>Identify and define market/product opportunities to meet sales and growth objectives.</li></ul><ul><li>Driving growth of 3M solutions at some of the Nation’s largest military depots and repair facilities.</li><li>Owning, leveraging and cultivating senior level relationships at assigned accounts to identify business needs / drivers and position 3M solutions for growth</li><li>Building and executing channel engagement plans that leverage existing government contracts and market trends (ie, use of small, disadvantaged businesses)</li><li>Leading 3M Team members at assigned accounts to foster and drive collaboration in the attainment of assigned forecast</li><li>Creating, maintaining, and executing pipeline of opportunities and engagements to realize the key sales targets and metrics</li></ul>Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and Three (3) years of account sales experience in a commercial, government, or military environment</li></ul>OR<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and Five (5) years of military experience.</li></ul>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:<ul><li>Three (3) years of key account sales experience in a government or military environment.</li><li>Strategic management of product distribution companies.</li><li>Working cross-functionally within a complex matrix organization.</li><li>Experience working as a government employee.</li><li>Skills include managing through CRM tools, selling skills, and C-Suite sales.</li></ul>Work location: Remote in Sales Territory Travel: May include up to 50% domestic travelRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws. U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain non-U.S. persons (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, Temporary Residents (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum. To comply with these laws, 3M must help assess candidates U.S. person status. The questions asked in this application are intended to assess this and will be used for evaluation purposes only.
