Here, you will make an impact by:<ul><li>Solidifying and maturing 3M’s global labor relations strategy</li><li>Leading a network of global labor-relations experts to share practices and identify key issues and concerns</li><li>Coordinating assessment of risk of labor- and employee-relations disruption</li><li>Providing governance of stakeholder communications regarding global labor relations issues</li><li>Developing and adapting global labor-relations tools, playbooks, and training</li><li>Leading deep-dives on labor-adjacent processes for optimization opportunities</li><li>Representing HR on cross-functional teams aligned to enterprise labor priorities</li></ul>Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</li><li>Ten (10) years of combined experience in human resources, labor relations, and/or labor &amp; employment law, in a private, public, government, or military environment</li></ul>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:<ul><li>Master’s degree in human resource management, or labor relations, or a law degree</li><li>Global labor relations or labor/employment law experience</li><li>Proven ability to lead by influence</li><li>Strong collaboration skills</li><li>Excellent oral and written English communication skills</li><li>Process orientation</li><li>Bias toward execution</li><li>Adeptness in navigating ambiguity</li><li>Demonstrated integrity and compliance mindset</li></ul>Work location: <ul><li>3M Global Headquarters in St. Paul, MN (4 days in office)</li></ul>Travel: May include up to 5% domestic and/or international travelRelocation Assistance: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
