Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.Job Description:3M is seeking a Reporting Analyst / BI Developer for the Finance Automation &amp; Analytics Team located in Bangalore, India.Job Summary:<ul><li>The person hired for the position of Reporting Analyst / BI Developer will be responsible for report development across all areas of finance, utilizing project management and BI developer skills, and working closely with BI and BW teams along with end user clients to create reports for Business Transformation.</li></ul> Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Utilizing your project management skills to partner with stakeholders to gather, coordinate, and communicate Finance digital reporting requirements, and identifying opportunities for improvement when necessary.</li><li>Creating detailed Functional Design documents (FD’s) to ensure proper report development.</li><li>Actively engaging BI / BW developers globally, and leveraging your own PowerBI expertise, to create and enhance reporting solutions.</li><li>Engaging with cross-functional areas including FP&amp;A, Treasury, Controllers, Business Finance, Enterprise Supply Chain, and IT across global locations.</li><li>Collaborating with project teams in customizing, integrating, and extending Power BI and reporting technologies.</li><li>Effectively training and supporting end-users on automated solutions and reporting tools.</li><li>Providing ongoing user ticket resolution to ensure reporting solutions continue to function as needed.</li><li>Identifying and driving optimization for process improvement and resource efficiency.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution</li><li>Three (3) years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&amp;A, Data Analytics, or Reporting &amp; Analytics in a private, public, government or military environment</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree in Finance, Accounting or Related Field</li><li>Working towards an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.</li><li>Strong understanding of Finance &amp; Accounting practices and policies</li><li>Ability to translate and articulate business needs into tangible, data-based solutions</li><li>Understanding of Finance (RTR) datasets, sources, and security models</li><li>Knowledge of Project Management, Scrum methodology, and Agile principles</li><li>Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx), scripting languages (e.g., DAX, VBA), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Webi), and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, HANA)</li><li>Experience with SQL and working knowledge of query and data warehouse design</li><li>Requires the ability to communicate in written and spoken English</li><li>Experience contributing on cross-functional teams  </li></ul>Location: Bangalore, IndiaTravel:  LimitedRelocation: Is not authorized          Learn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.Please note: your application may not be considered if you do not provide your education and work history, either by: 1) uploading a resume, or 2) entering the information into the application fields directly.3M Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read these Terms of Use before using this website.
