At 3M, this role bridges the gap between technical teams, business stakeholders, and supply chain operations, ensuring the successful execution of AI-driven projects that enhance efficiency, forecasting, automation, and decision-making.Primary responsibilities include:<ul><li>Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of AI projects, including planning of tasks, execution, progress monitoring, delivery, and closure.</li><li>Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with supply chain experts and business leaders to define project goals, scope, and success metrics.</li><li>Team Management: Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver project execution goals.</li><li>Technical oversight: Understand programming languages, system architecture, data pipelines, AI frameworks, and model deployment to effectively guide technical teams and ensure alignment with business needs.</li><li>Agile Execution: Lead agile development process and ensure timely delivery of milestones.</li><li>Communication: Regularly communicate status updates within D&amp;AA and to external stakeholders and ESC leadership.</li><li>Process Improvement: Collaborate with the rest of the D&amp;AA PMO team to continuously improve project execution processes.</li><li>AI Product Roadmap: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI products</li></ul>Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</li><li>Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain analytics roles with increasing responsibility in a private, public, government or military environment</li><li>Five (5) years of product/project/program management experience</li></ul>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:<ul><li>Direct experience deploying ML, Gen AI, Decision Intelligence, Graph Data Science, Optimization/Simulation, and other advanced analytics solutions at enterprise scale.</li><li>Master’s degree a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to coordinate and influence across organizational boundaries to deliver project deliverables and timelines.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into well-defined technical project requirements.</li><li>Experience working with global and/or remote teams.</li><li>Experience leading AI projects with external vendors.</li><li>Experience improving supply chain and logistics processes to drive performance.</li><li>Experience designing cloud-based advanced analytics on big data.</li><li>Solid communication skills, ability to interact with all levels within an organization.</li><li>Work as a member of an agile development organization.</li><li>Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve.</li></ul><div>Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. </div><div>Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international</div><div>Relocation: May be authorized </div><div> </div><div>Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). </div><div> <div>Supporting Your Well-being  </div><div>3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
