Here, you will make an impact by:<ul><li>Establishment and Achievement of Objectives: Effectively manage assigned territory and increase sales of both existing and target accounts. Understand sales goals and establish self-directed sales coverage with managers assistance. Develop tactics and coordinate efforts to fulfill quarterly and annual objectives. Recommend adjustments and reassessments to business plan and establish new objectives to increase the sales of 3M’s market leading PPE products.</li><li>Sales and Marketing: Apply business unit marketing policies, procedures and plans. Utilize selling process to achieve sales results. Demonstrate and train customers on product applications. Represent business unit products and services to customers and prospects. Provide appropriate sales support services to customers and distributors, with additional support, as required, from internal resources. Proactively report all new or unusual pertinent market conditions, competitive activities, and product performance information to supervisor. Interact with business groups and/or business management to identify target audiences and provide input to a communications plan that delivers the brand promise to target audiences and builds customer loyalty.</li><li>Coordination and Planning: Plan and manage time and resources for effective coverage of territory, communications, and other responsibilities. Adhere to all budget guidelines and Maintain and communicate account and prospect information in company CRM resources and sales support materials.</li><li>Leadership: Candidate will exhibit leadership with accounts, prospects and peers. Accept direction and assume leadership as appropriate. Assert ideas and persuade others to action. Build collaboration among team members to address relevant customer/industry issues. Provide direction on priorities and develop a shared vision that stimulates needed changes plus clarifies roles and responsibilities. Position may occasionally be involved with training and mentoring other sales representatives, usually as a co-facilitating role.</li><li>Development: Continuously expected to learn and improve skills relative to the market, products, and applications. The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this positionYour Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</li><li>Five (5) years of safety or industrial sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment</li><li>Current, valid Driver’s License.</li></ul>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:<ul><li>Ten (10) years of safety or industrial sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment</li><li>Selling through Industrial Distribution (B2B) experience</li><li>Working with and creating spec’s for end-user manufacturing company experience- General Industry, Construction, Shipyards, Pharma, Hospitals, etc</li><li>Strong organizational skills while working independently</li><li>Effective time &amp; territory management skills</li><li>Strong use of personal computer software and Salesforce</li></ul>Sales Territory: AR, TN, and MSPreferred Candidate Location: Little Rock, AR or Memphis, TN preferredTravel: 50% travel requiredRelocation: May be authorized         Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
