Senior QA Analyst, Compliance - Games Operations
Netflix is looking for an experienced test professional for the Compatibility, Compliance, and Cloud (CCQA) team to join the Netflix Game Studio in delivering the next generation of video games to a worldwide audience.
As a Senior QA Analyst for the Compliance - CCQA Team, you will have a significant impact on delivering functional and stable games to Netflix members. You will partner with other QA team members, and cross-functionally to drive testing agendas for a highly visible Compliance organization.
The ideal candidate will be working as an integrated member of a cross-functional team, participating in the design and execution of QA strategies and methods across the CCQA space.
Responsibilities
Track Compliance violations within our pipeline to ensure they are resolved
Verify bug fixes and ensure that our database is up to date
Work with engineering and/or development teams to identify requirements and develop test plans
Deep involvement in developing/identifying appropriate tooling and frameworks to support all CCQA testing efforts
Defining test coverage, creating and maintaining test cases, reporting test results, and evaluating readiness to ship throughout the software development lifecycle
Provide qualitative feedback to development team regarding player experience and usability
Exemplify reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions
Maintain a strong understanding of our Game Requirements for Netflix (GRNs), devices, and our game designs and features
Requirements
Passion for games with a commitment to quality
Demonstrated experience in test planning for complex features/systems
4+ years of experience in mobile testing (iOS / Android / Cloud)
2+ years of experience in Compliance Policy verification (ex: Sony TRCs / Google Requirements)
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and organization skills
Ability to be a self-starter, work independently, be flexible, and thrive while focusing on the details, such as; spotting subtle problems, raising issues, and taking ownership of the solution.
Expert knowledge of technical requirements, tools, and processes
Experience with Xcode and ADB, using IPAs/APKs, and pulling device logs
Experience translating requirements into effective test cases
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or a similar defect-tracking software
Bonus Skills
Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master and/or Product Owner, ISTQB
Coding Knowledge: XML/HTML, JavaScript, Python, Java, C/C++/ C#, SQL
Experience with Continuous Integration system
Experience with TestRail, and Test Case Management tools
Location- USA Remote, Candidates in US PST will have preference.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000 - $250,000.
