Based in our Chichester office, you will play a key role in planning, delivering and completing audit assignments, supervising junior team members, and building strong client relationships.</div><div>This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of clients, work closely with managers and partners, and further develop your technical and leadership skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.</div> <h2> About the role </h2> <ul><li>Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery to time, budget and quality standards.</li><li>Preparing audit work, delegating tasks where appropriate and reviewing work completed by Audit Semi-Seniors and Assistants.</li><li>Monitoring workflow and communicating progress with clients and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Researching and resolving audit issues, escalating complex matters as required.</li><li>Preparing audit completion documentation, including Going Concern assessments and KAF files.</li><li>Supervising, coaching and developing junior team members, providing feedback and guidance.</li><li>Maintaining audit administration, including accurate APS workflow updates and ensuring all compliance requirements (AML, KYC, engagement letters) are met.</li><li>Acting as a key point of contact for clients during fieldwork, maintaining proactive communication throughout the year.</li><li>Attending client meetings, including planning, review and close-down sessions.</li><li>Supporting the Audit team in business development activities including networking, contributing to pitches, and supporting cross-referral opportunities across the firm.</li></ul> <h2> What we can offer </h2> <ul><li>Financial wellbeing – competitive salary, contributory pension scheme, Life Assurance, Health Cash Plan, Income Protection Scheme and Perks at Work discounts and rewards. </li><li>Leave – 25.5 days plus bank holidays, holiday buying Mental wellbeing – hybrid working (3 days in the office/2 from home) and flexible working policies, Employee Assistance Programme and counselling</li><li>Physical wellbeing –Private Medical Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance and an annual flu jab. </li><li>Recognition – monthly nominations for financial awards based on culture and values</li><li>Development – we offer continuous support and development with clear mapped progression routes across the business, as well as access to internal and external training courses</li><li>Diversity, inclusion and belonging – we operate several family-friendly policies and take proactive steps to create an inclusive environment</li><li>ESG – give as you earn, 1 extra day off each year to take up volunteering opportunities.
