Let’s fuse creativity with technology together and build innovative solutions that actively change things for the better.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative web solutions</li><li>Optimize website performance, security, and user experience</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex WordPress issues</li><li>Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility</li><li>Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices documentation</li><li>Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends</li><li>Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients and team members across different time zones</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development</li><li>Advanced knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</li><li>Proficiency in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins</li><li>Strong understanding of WordPress core, including APIs and hooks</li><li>Experience with version control systems, preferably Git</li><li>Expertise in responsive design and mobile-first development</li><li>Familiarity with MySQL and database optimization techniques</li><li>Knowledge of WordPress security best practices and performance optimization</li><li>Experience with nearshore development processes and cross-cultural communication</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent time management and organizational abilities</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment</li><li>Fluency in English;</li><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred)</li><li>WordPress certifications (preferred)</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>The Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
