On Bitbucket, you’ll get to work across systems, services, and teams to solve the unique challenges of distributed version control and developer tools. On your first day, well expect you to have:<ul><li>Proficient in Python, Java, or Go</li><li>Experienced in designing, implementing, and improving large-scale distributed systems</li><li>Guide the technical direction and implementation of large-scale product features</li><li>Evaluate trade-offs between correctness, robustness, performance and customer impact to ensure we build the right solution</li><li>Collaborate with product, design and engineering to influence product strategy and direction</li><li>Ship well-tested, secure, reliable, and maintainable code while keeping our customers best interests in mind</li><li>Experienced in coaching and mentoring teammates. Level up the skills of your teammates by sharing your expertise</li><li>Practices operational excellence, including monitoring, incident response, and blameless post-incident reviews.</li><li>Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Enthusiastic about learning new technologies, languages, and frameworks.</li><li>Experience with building and deploying microservice architectures.</li><li>Experience designing and operating high-traffic services on cloud PaaS (AWS, Azure) with frameworks (Kubernetes, Docker)</li></ul> Its great, but not required, if you have:<ul><li>Experience hosting Git or other version control systems.</li><li>Experience working with deep learning-based models and working on LLM-related applications</li><li>Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Memcached, Kubernetes</li><li>Unix programming experience, working with network-mounted filesystems (NFS, autoFS)</li></ul> CompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidates skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones.
