The team performs Quality Assurance reviews including process &amp; controls testing, testing the conformity of reported data with reporting instructions and gathering, sampling, understanding, and testing the data to ensure data quality for various regulatory reporting purposes. The team partners closely with the Regulatory Report owners, Technology, Data Governance, and other stakeholders to perform the review and ensure robust governance. Role Responsibilities <ul> <li>Perform process and control review to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities.</li> <li>Perform transaction testing, share findings, and monitor closure.</li> <li>Support compliance with Regulatory Reporting Governance policy and prepare key metrics.</li> <li>Understand the master and reference data to be used across operational and reporting processes.</li> <li>Support regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with the reporting guidelines issued by regulators.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.</li> <li>Support reviews and audits e.g., Federal Reserve Exam, Internal Audit Group review and others.</li> <li>Work closely and coordinate with various regulatory reporting, technology, data governance, service management, teams to ensure quality assurance over the regulatory reporting processes.</li> <li>Support regulatory reporting governance and oversight by implementing Regulatory Reporting Error Framework, Cross Report Reconciliation Framework, Regulatory Reporting Risk Assessment Framework and Regulatory Reporting Item Log Framework.</li> </ul> Minimum Qualifications <ul> <li>3+ years experience in Accounting/Reporting</li> <li>Experience in data analytics, data controls and understanding of data transformation logics.</li> <li>Prior experience with U.S. regulatory/SEC reporting or public accounting a plus</li> <li>Ability to enhance the governance around regulatory reports</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact independently with senior business partners / customers etc.  </li> <li>Self-driven, team player, have analytical skills and inclination for process improvement.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Quick learner.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>MS Office suite (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint).</li> <li>Oracle, Essbase and RRA (Regulatory Reporting Automation).</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li>Big 4 consulting firm experience (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC)</li> <li>Knowledge of financial reporting and banking products </li> <li>Reporting and analysis experience will be an advantage. Familiarity with US GAAP and financial accounting experience </li> <li>SharePoint and Power Platform </li> <li>SQL queries and understanding of database management </li> <li>Chartered Accountant/CPA/MBA</li> </ul> Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
